Good evening 'Scapers!

Tonight we have some very special news to announce to you... We are now a Silver Level Supported Jagex Fansite. You can view the list of supported fansites here, which we are now on!

We now have three more quest guides to give to you all tonight. First is the Cold War Quest guide, make sure you help out Larry in this exciting quest! Next is our Druidic Ritual Guide and last but not least we have our Priest in Peril Guide. Thanks goes out to Boomer-One for these wonderful guides.

Mistmonk didn't know Jagex rated their Fansites

They make fansites "official" and we get special support with them. We normally talk to them via email weekly and get feedback on the site. Once we rank up to gold we will get the following:

• The website will be officially recognised by Jagex and included on the recognised fansite list
  
• Support with events (advertising on the forums, the official Jagex Twitter account and Facebook)
  
• In-game JMod support with events (when possible)
  
• Syndicated staff interviews
  
• Syndicated concept art
  
• Occasional exclusive staff interviews
  
• Occasional exclusive concept art
  
• Occasional merchandise from the Jagex Store for competition giveaways
  
• Access to the hidden fansite admin forum on the official RuneScape forums
  
• Advice on search engine optimisation
  
• Possible invitations to Jagex and Jagex's future events

While we currently have:

• Initial advice/pointers from the fansite support team
  
• The fansite starter pack (if applicable)
  
• Occasional feedback and announcements from the fansite support team
  
• Support in removing RWT/gaming adverts from your site (if applicable)

Congratulations RuneSlayer, this is a nice achievement! I'm sure we will be gold soon, as long as the regular updates continue and everyone keeps up the hard work.

Well technically I'm still with RuneHints, and (somehow) RuneHints has gold level. I'm able to access the fansite forum and whatnot already :\

Becoming a gold fansite is at least 3 months of our current work - away. We do have high hopes for getting it before our birthday on November 30th, though.

I'm sure this can be done, as long as the amount of effort being put into the site continues at the fast rate it is at the moment!

Quest guides can only be pumped out this fast for so long. Once I hit all the quests with low requirements, training will start taking longer to do than the quests. :\

Of course, there is other content too.

The guides should not be produced by only one member of the forum, I'm sure I'll contibute with some guides as soon as I get the time!

Gaz, with only a few staff members there is only one person working on quest guides full time. I am not really in the content department but I do work on skill guides when I get time. Ben has been doing a few quest guides when he has some down time from coding the site.

I have all but Nomad's Requiem's final fight done for quests, so I can't do any quest guides unless it's a new one. Boomer goes crazy though and gets the guide posted a few hours after the quest comes out, so it's hard to beat that

We're working on it, but we have it on pretty good authority that most of the fansites are going to be stuck at the level they're currently at indefinitely.
