November 30 marks RuneSlayer's Birthday, and we've turned Two this year! And what a great year it's been too! This year, we've gotten a lot closer to completing our list of guides, released our Dynamic World Map, Dynamic Signatures, Skill Signatures, Monsters, Music, & Tasks databases, our website redesign, and we've traveled to London to cover RuneFest Live for our users! Whew!

Rather than jab on about what we've done, I'd like to announce what we're releasing today! First off, one new quest guides: Enlightened Journey written by Josh 302! Next, is our Thieving Skill Guide, written by Qb1!

Speaking about our Dynamic Signatures being released this year, we have an update to them already. When you go to select your pose, you can change the category to "Dungeoneering" in the drop down box, and have your choice of Dungeoneering bosses to show off in your sig! If you'd like to see your own pose or background available, we're still accepting user submitted images, so please get in contact with us!

Also, I have a small gift to those that like to compare before and afters: Magic Audio - Before and After the update!

Now, onto some bigger things! We're pleased to announce we now have an IRC channel! It can be accessed from here, and we're currently working on getting a plug-in for our forums. In case you're not familiar with IRC channels, we will have guides on different commands and general use of the IRC channel soon. You may also win some things by joining our IRC channel in our latest competitions! What competitions you ask? See the second post!

Penguin Hide and Seek Competition

The penguins have taken over the site! We need some help tracking them down, as they've hidden across our website! There are 10 penguins hiding throughout our site, so if you find one, make note of its location!

Once you find all 10, email competitions@runeslayer.com with the list of where you found them (be as exact as possible!), and the we'll give prizes to the first three winners!

• 1st Place - 90 Days RuneScape Membership, RuneScape Novel eBook set, T-Shirt from the Jagex Store
  
• 2nd Place - 30 Days RuneScape Membership, RuneScape Novel eBook Set
  
• 3rd Place - 30 Days RuneScape Membership

Please note, that any penguins found in Distractions and Diversions guides, Quest guides, or news posts will not count! The only penguins that will be counted are those found on RuneSlayer.com. If you're stuck, you may occasionally spot crazy Larry in our IRC who will give some cryptic clues to point you in the right direction! Some of the penguins will be easy, while others will be quite difficult to find!




IRC & Twitter Giveaways

Throughout the day, we will randomly be giving out prizes to users on our IRC Channel and @RuneSlay Twitter account. The spoils include:

It's been an amazing two years here at the RuneSlayer Network. We would not be able to be who we are without our loyal users and their support. This is a day to celebrate not only for us administrators, but for you users, whether you have been with us for two years, or joined today. I would like to thank each and every one of you - you are making history with us! We have a big schedule of tools lined up for the Winter and Spring; we can't wait to show them to you... it's going to be a big change for the betterment of RuneSlayer and you're along for the ride.

P.S. I would like to point out that you should be extra careful with looking for these penguins. They are very smart and know the best places to hide. Some will not be as easy as others to spot, and you may have to think outside the box to reach them on the site... also... stay on RuneSlayer.com as RuneForums.com does not count.

Two questions: 1. Do the ones on Boomer's picture and sig count? and 2. Do you want them in URLs?

It says that Runeforums.com doesn't count, only Runeslayer.com
It says to be as specific as possible, so if you can give a URL, then go for it, I'd guess.

Also, if you get on IRC, at www.runeslayer.com/IRC/ and join #ArdgouneZoo (Say /join #ArdgouneZoo ) then Larry is giving out random hints every ten minutes. It might help you out a bit, if you need it.

You are looking for images only, not words, to better phrase it. I believe we already have 3 winners, but if you want you can still try to find them. In the next day or so we will post a list of where they are hidden.
