Okay, should we put up a guide for it, or not?

What does everyone think about the event? I found it was a whole lot easier than previous years.

Well, untradable holiday items are always awesome :P

This years is a tshirt, a lanyard (necklace slot), and a hourglass (weapon, members only), as well as a traditional emote. :)

The hourglass is wielded in the shield slot. Does anyone know how time is a central theme in this event? I mean both the hourglass and the emote being or having something to do with time, there must be some link with time itself as maybe a hidden meaning in the event...

The hourglass has to do with how much time is remaining in your life. The emote is basically that you've run out of time in your life, and Death is there to take your life, but the hour glass flips over JUST in time, and Death is forced to disappear within an instant of your life being claimed.

And I wonder how Jagex came up with such a theme for Halloween. I actually thought it would be more silly :P

They wanted to use Citadels since that's the "Update of the Year" or whatever. From there it wouldn't take too much thought to try to figure out what you can do with the basics of the citadel. The four Horsemen concept already exists, Death, Pestilence, War, and Famine. What I'm not sure I like or whatever, if how they suddenly combined the RuneScape characters of Death and the Grim Reaper, removing Death and renaming Grim to Death. I don't like it when they just do things like that :P

Anyway, with the four Horsemen, Frank was obviously thrown in so they had 5 members in the clan. It then just needed a small bit of imagination to figure out what you can do inside a Citadel. The only thing that took a bit more thought/originality was with Horses (the chickens) and the fireworks on the roof.

Oh. The time doesn't really have anything to do with the event at all, it's just part of the rewards :P

-feels stupid for trying to over explain-

I didn't enjoy this as much as the Halloween events in the past. I loved Grim's house in the past. I hope that they bring it back next year...It would also be nice to see his clanmates in future Halloween events.
