Attack of A Snail

Now most of you are probably wondering what exactly that terrible image is up above, right? Well it is an example of how terrible an entry to our new comic competition can be, and even win. Our competition will run for two weeks and the top prize will be a signed copy of Betrayal At Falador! All details are listed below.

Date: December 21st through January 4th (GMT) 12th of January at 12pm(noon) GMT
Who Can Enter: Anyone except Administrators
What the goal is: Create a comic strip which will make the administrators laugh. It doesn't have the be the most beautiful thing in the world. Just make us laugh. (P.S. Use your imagination, it might pay off)
Theme: RuneScape images and theme is required
Entry Submissions: Send your competition entry to competitions@runeslayer.com with your RuneSlayer Network Username
How Many Submissions: You may send in as many as you want.
File Format: PNG or GIF is preferred
Prize: Signed copy of Betrayal At Falador provided by Jagex.

You must be willing to share your home address with a RuneSlayer Administrator so that we can ship it to you. We will never sell or disclose your address, in fact we will shred it the moment we know it is safely in your hands.

All judging will be done by the Network Administrators (Ben, Anthony, DarknessFalls, Boomer, and Schmidty102) on the 5th of January (Only then will we look at entries, as we don't want to have a biased opinion). We will be judging based on how funny your comic is, how much effort we can tell you put into it, and by variety of graphics. The best looking comic will probably not win, although the worst looking might not either. It all depends.

Screenshots in-game, concept art, or hand drawn images having to do with RuneScape. Whatever you feel has a RuneScape-y feel.

Did you ever find out who exactly signed it? I understand that the pen crapped out while they were doing it, and you can't very well just go and run a new pen where you signed or it looks forged, but I wanted to know who signed it

From what we understand, there was a signing with T.S. Church - the author a few weeks before they sent the book out to us. Jagex sent this from their office, which means that it is a signed copy from T.S. Church.

You should get a final confirmation from Hohbien telling us that it was Church I think it says T Church actually.

Unless, of course, he just has Church as his signature.

You should really include disclaimers, such as RuneSlayer retains the right to change the dates, prizes, etc. >_> Just saying. I was looking forward to judging today.

We probably should include it on the competition page, but according to our Terms of Service policy (sect. 10, 11, and 12) we reserve these rights.

Don't worry though, we won't be extending the competition out any more
