You may notice that we've change the forum around quite a bit today with our upgrade.

Please keep in mind we're working on a new skin, the current one isn't quite what we like.

Overall, there's a lot of new features: a new, better editor, and topic tags (which you can see on this topic!), as well as the ability to select your RuneScape avatar as your avatar are some of the main ones. Explore, and get to know the new forum!

Recently, RuneScape has made it possible to disable the censor in game.

We at RuneForums have decided that the community is mature enough to handle the censor being disabled here as well. So therefore, most of the words are removed from the censor -- the major exception are words that are used mostly by spambots. So, if you have a valid reason to be discussing the names of anti-depressants, you may still be caught by the censor.

Please note that this does NOT change our policy on respect. Disrespecting another member, whether you use curse words or not, will still end with your account in a bad place.

With the recent addition of the Runite community, and the RuneScape Times forums, we realised it was time to reorganize our forums. We've split off the old "RuneSlayer" category into two: "Network News", which includes only the news from our sites, and "Feedback", which includes a bunch of new forums where you can suggest new features to be added, or submit your own content to sites.

Also, our staff groups are also all rearranged. What was formerly shown as Administrators and Community Managers, and Staff are now removed, and have been replaced with the following:

Network Administrators
RuneForums Administrators
RuneSlayer, Runite, and RuneScape Times Administrators

RuneForums Moderators
RuneSlayer, Runite, and RuneScape Times Staff

This way, only Red and Orange users are moderators here.

Please note there may be some problems still. If you find a post in the wrong area, report it, and we'll move it to the correct area. Likewise, if you find that you can't view a forum, message any Administrator and we'll fix that as well.
